Owner and instructor of Zach Field Drums & Music, Zach started the school in 1999 after 12 years as the Pentucket Regional School District’s percussion director. In addition to starting ZFDM, he’s also taught at Salem State College and is a guest lecturer at UMass Lowell. When he’s not teaching, Zach performs Plum Island Pans and freelances with various groups.  Not only has Zach recorded with many artists, he’s also done recording work for Bose speakers.

Zach is also the founder of the Plum Island Pans and the Gong Meditation Project.
